Location: Como, South Yarra

As reported earlier in Winter 11, we've recently spied little novelties popping up all over the city.

Sooo are you one of those peeps striving to keep ahead of the fash-pack? Keen to blow the crew away with your epic accessorised steeze?

Well gosh damn Son, we've got the hot tip right here.

YBIR Suggests - When adding some flair to your ride this summer, don't go light on, as displayed above.

Take it to the next level, annihilate those other wannabe trendsetters with your killer swag.

Go fucking nuts.

Coming to a Charter near you.

Bike: Cinelli Gazetta AKA "Joy"
Location: St Kilda
Owner: Yours Truly

My Celeste front rim was the first piece that I bought for my bike and I based my colour palette around it. I love that poke so hard.

Dear Poke, I'm sorry for all the dings, all the drunken stacks, all the skids to ass slides, I have ruined you.
I still love you, now I'm on a mission to get you a facelift, love truly, SIM.

I'm giving Celeste a overhaul in the only lazy ass way I know how... STICKER ATTACK!!

As you can see I have made a start, slowly sifting through sneaker boxes to add to the collage.

Any contributions will be greatly appreciated, pls email moi

Bike: 1992 Eddy Merckx Pista Corsa Extra
Owner: Me!
Location: eBay Belgium

I picked up this gem last night on eBay, and although I am sleep deprived today I can't stop smiling like a fat kid who just found the Tim Tam tin hidden in the pantry.

Pearl and Chrome... could you ask for a better combo?

I'm in love. May need that napkin for my chair again.

The bike's original owner was Fabien de Waele who rode for the Lotto team in the early 90s. He has ridden The Tour three times! Fabien must have mad respect for bikes as this frame has barely a scratch.

I can't wait to start building this up!

Here's a flashback for the 80's babies out there... look at the red and blue graphics on the seat tube:

They fully remind me of the Curiosity Show. FUCK I used to love that show (NEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)

Shout outs to the ATO for making my dreams a reality

Burger and I spent some time relaxing in Byron Bay after some non relaxing at Splendour in the Grass.

Our guest house had these cruisers for the guests to use and we hungused them the whole time that we were there. They have a coaster wheel with a back brake so are fully skiddable. DO A SKIIIIID. Actually only saw one dude the whole time on a fixed. The rest were ghey mountain bikes and these pussy ass cruisers types.

They are soooooo heavy. Like 10 Gazettas, or 15 Mosers. But fun anyway. Why walk when you can roll. Oh yeah, and it was 25 degrees and you don't have to wear a helmet. Aaaaah the feeling of the sun warming your skin and the breeze in your hair... Bliss!

Makes me sooooooo happy to be sitting in my office in Melbourne right about now.
Can't wait to put my helmet on and ride home in the dark :/

Oh yeah, apart from the MB's and cruisers we did also come across this jewellery shop with all these roadies on the walls:

I asked the dude why we never saw any of them on the road and he said that we woke up too late. Point taken.

He then proceeded to tell us the times and meeting points of the Byron road racing squad like I give a shit.
Because I have a road bike... NAWT.... oh yeah and I'm going to bring it to my beach holiday too... hmmm

I zoned out and while he was rambling on I had a look of some of the custom pieces he hand makes:

Silver crank necklace not bayed

Solid gold carabiner. Want/ need

Gold hit an all time high today of $1934 an ounce. Should be able to pick up one of these babies for a couple of G.

Flav would be rubbing his mitts right about now, oh yes. Please can you cease with the Flavor of Love now?

Sorry Brenton I done broke your bike!

B lent me this kick ass ride while I was putting my Gazetta together. I thrashed it, maybe a little too hard... right in to a wall on the Main Yarra Trail. FFFFUUUUUU slimy wooden slats on the path and bitches on the wrong side.

This is why we can't have nice things :(

FUCKING KILLED. Right on the hip.

My sister thinks that I should start a blog just featuring my injuries. There would be so many posts featuring that elbow: I don't even have any skin there anymore, I just keep on ripping off the scar tissue.

Such a lady.

Bike: BMX's - stacks of them!
Location: Revolver Upstairs Chapel St
Owners: Groms

You may remember this post that we did about the first bmx comp to be held in a nightclub. Well the boys are back for this years installment, and I didn't have to scoot off early to pack for Splendour this year. Bonus!

Ever since my camera was stolen I made a promise to myself, and to you our 3 loyal readers, that I wouldn't resort to posting dodgy iPhone snaps however these were just too good to pass up.

So many bikes, not nearly enough poles.

The obligatory safety warning. A flying BMX will hurt if it flies through the air and lands on your face.

I kinda wish that a flying bike hit these two classy ladies, who were clearly there because they are so passionate about BMX. I like your dress, is that from GASP?

Couldn't have said it better myself. Want.

Here is a video that was not taken with my phone:

Rad night all round, nice one boys
