NEW TREND ALERT.

Location: Como, South Yarra

As reported earlier in Winter 11, we've recently spied little novelties popping up all over the city.

NTA!!! CONFIRMED.

Sooo are you one of those peeps striving to keep ahead of the fash-pack? Keen to blow the crew away with your epic accessorised steeze?

Well gosh damn Son, we've got the hot tip right here.

YBIR Suggests - When adding some flair to your ride this summer, don't go light on, as displayed above.

Take it to the next level, annihilate those other wannabe trendsetters with your killer swag.

Go fucking nuts.

STICKER ATTACK!

Bike: Cinelli Gazetta AKA "Joy"
Location: St Kilda
Owner: Yours Truly

My Celeste front rim was the first piece that I bought for my bike and I based my colour palette around it. I love that poke so hard.

Dear Poke, I'm sorry for all the dings, all the drunken stacks, all the skids to ass slides, I have ruined you.
I still love you, now I'm on a mission to get you a facelift, love truly, SIM.

I'm giving Celeste a overhaul in the only lazy ass way I know how... STICKER ATTACK!!

As you can see I have made a start, slowly sifting through sneaker boxes to add to the collage.

Any contributions will be greatly appreciated, pls email moi

I think I need to make one of these when I eventually get on the road.

JUICY FRUITS

Bike: Juicy Fruits
Location: The Evelyn, Brunswick St
Owner: Alastair

Loz and I were doing our best to ride off the HUGE breakfast that we ate on Sunday. All was well and good until we became thirsty so we stopped for jugs at the Evelyn.

We had only been there a short while when we were graced with this beauty. Wowza the colour of those Aero's really popps off so nicely against the chrome Bianchi frame. Get me a napkin for my seat.

I heart the Joocy, this is one of my favourite videos OF ALL TIME:

Whut Whueert hollaaa!!!

Yo your mates bikes were pretty rad too...

TECHNICOLOR WHOA

Bike: Holden, you make cars right?
Location: Devonshire Street, Surry Hills, SYD
Owner: Crafty Old Vagabond

Oh Sydney. You're no Melbourne... To compensate, you gave me this bike. A multi wheel of coloured fortune! Ok, it doesn't come close but hey, thanks for trying.

I'm a total sucker for anything that pops colour as much as this. So, I had to bail the old man up for a chat. He engineered this baby all by himself.

Check it closely, FULL ELECS! When the sun goes down, flick the switch and watch him go.

Rave on Pops.

W10 ACCESSORY REPORT

Helmet: ATOM
Location: Coles New World, Prahran

White, hell it goes with everything.
Complete with rear lighting, this helmet is a must for any street savvy rider. Or rightly so, an old man.
Hello what is that? A detachable foam visor?

Storage Component: Plastic Toy Tub
Location: Crn Dandenong & Chapel, St Kilda East

I have lightly touched on the use of household items to jazz up the most minimal of rides. Take this inventive owner, not content with the common milk crate.
This is practical for vinyl, soft toys or transporting a slab.

KRINK

Bike: Krink Fixx
Location: RMIT
Owner: TBC. Email us if this is you!

Having just started a new job on the "other side" of the city, I have been going out on little missions on my lunch break on the search for Rad Bikes. There are shitloads of bikes parked around RMIT on Swanston, you know because students are pov and they can't afford the whole $2.30 for a Metcard so they ride. When I was in uni I found a yearly Metcard at (haha) Seven nightclub so I was totally SET for the year. I then blew the dough I saved on goon. Awesome.

For those who don't know, KRINK (KR's ink) make totally bauce markers for, well, leaving your mark on shit. Like Poscas but way more drippy.

Check them out here

Don't Come Gallery had a Krink show last year. I miss you Don't Come. Why'd you have to shut down assholes?

STRAWBERRIES & CREAM

Bike: Strawberries & Cream.
Location: Sandringham Line
Owner: Damo

Another gem from Damo's extensive bike collection.

Unfortunately this time we had to PT this cutie home after Damo slashed both the tires on some grate at the rooftop of the Foundry. Like, how dare they protect their precious rooftop. Trespassing is cool.

Also cool:
Makes you drool:

I LOVE LOLLIES

COLOUR CORRECT

Helmet: Rosebank StackHat
Owner: Excellent eye for detail
Location: Swanston Street, Melb

We've noticed the StackHat is experiencing somewhat of a reinvention.

Sim's been rocking a white one for quite some time. I used to have a Hot Pink one and my Bro, Black. If you were a kid in the late 80's you probably had one.

I don't think mine matched quite as well as this owner.

Colour Coordination A++

SMURF STYLE

Bike: Shmick Rapallo Fixed Gear

Location: Cookie, Swanston St Melbourne

Owner: TBC. Email us if this is YOU!

This bike looks like if Gargamel put an evil curse on one of the little smurfs that made him a lot bigger and bike shaped.

If I had this sweet ride I would probs match it with this T-Shirt by my favourite designers, PAM:

Thanks to my sweet soon to be sister in law, REN! You rule!

THE DEVIL RIDES LAGER

Bike: SE Lager
Owner: Lucifer
Location: Opp 650 Chapel Street, South Yarra

I just like the checker board patterning on the seat.

If I was going to ride a bike of this style, it would most definitely look like this;

THIS BIKE IS A BEAST

Bike: The Beast
Owner: Damo
Location: St Kilda Massive

NOW. Let me set one thing straight. Usually I do not condone motors on bikes.
Motorbikes are not my style and Vespas make me dry retch.
But this is our friend Damo's sick beast and he built it all himself. Big ups my man!

This bike has a 70cc 2-stroke motor. The frame is a original crusier frame. It is HEAVY as fuck.
Believe me, I have carried it down a flight of stairs. Yes. I know I also am a beast.

It's based on old school Boardtracker bikes that have had a strong following since the 60s' (who knew?)
Check out more bikes like this here
Or dudes that are quite obsessed with them here

Top speed is 55kph, which is more than enough to CAIN yourself. Hell I can injure myself at like 10kph.

One day... I may just be courageous enough to have a spin. Full leather suit neccessary, so it will have to wait at least until winter. Maybe when hell freezes over.

Check out the chromey goodness... and the double chain, whoa well that's off the chain!
(Thanks dad)

Dear Damo, you are one of my favourite dudes. When I see your bike it reminds me of this scene from Pulp Fiction:
