This was my second ever bike, my first was a fire engine red tricycle.

Even back in the day I was still pulling poses for the camera and coordinating my outfit, right down to the shoes to my bike.

HILLMAN AT JEFF'S SHED

Check out this sweet Hillman fixay I spotted at the Melbourne exhibition centre AKA Jeff's shed! FYI this building has the largest pillarless floor space in the southern hemisphere. Go Jeff Kennett! Dude is a legend face.
Helloooo nerd attack- I'm manning our hub at the 2012 property investing conference and it is gaaaaaaaaay. Only because most of the time the antendees are in seminars and we only speak with them for like 10/60 mins. Le sigh. Highlight of my day: sneaking into the food and wine festival and chowing down on anything with a toothpick innit. Oh yarr and this flash ride. Hot.

BMX DREAMING

I had a dream about this bike last night. I haven't thought about this rad ride since I first posted it in 2010 but I think that there were a few factors that ended up in this bike resurfacing from my subconscious. 

1. My friend Nick came over last night to tell me about another bike that his friend has for sale:

A OG PK Ripper! Fuck Yeah! How much? Out of my price range, unforch.

Hmmmm... as long as you like it! TTYTT I don't think I would ever juice over a MTB, except if I was riding downhill again. Then lay that double suspension. on me bruvva! In the city though, fuck off, I don't know you. 

2. I'M FULLY SICK.... not like guido fully sick re! - Although I am holed up in bed watching season 2 of Jersey Shore. It's shit funny. Instead of getting jacked up on coke and steroids, I'm getting loose on Codrals and Mercyndol. Oooh baby watch out 

POINT: Drugs make you cray. Have you ever left a nicotine patch on when you went to sleep? MANG!

This dude face was selling 57 bikes from a private collection, for the pittance of a $50k starting price! Chump Change really pffffffffffttttttttt


These 3 things combined led me to that loopy dream last night. I wish it would come true because then I would be doing sick ass jumps on Hell Track on a hubless BMX rather than chomping cold meds and watching trash in bed. Such is life amigos, happy hump day!

I live right near Chapel St and I wish that I could tell you that sights like these are a rare occurrence.

Unfortunately drunkies like to use our helmets as rubbish bins on the regular. Best thing about living so close to the Chap? If you are ever bored on the weekend watching the crowd get kicked out of Revs on Saturday when it's time for cleaning is pure entertainment.

I know this bike is called Your Bike is Rad so I hesitated posting this bike for a while. Then I just thought OH FUCK IT. My sister got a Jelly Bean Bike and she just got it to ride to and from the gym and school.... so I guess its ok in that sense. BUT if you know anything at all about bikes you would never ride a heavy piece of crap like this. Not only was her order delayed by 4 months, both of the grips had fallen off within the first week and had to be repaired by me because big sis is not that way inclined. 


So does slapping a Supreme sticker on a shit bike make it rad? Let me put it this way... it's like lipstick on a pig.
